AuctionAgent was founded by one individual, an ebay fanatic, who initially learned
and used the online auction service for personal use. After recognizing the convenience
of ebay, the idea came about to extend the service to non ebay users or individuals with
limited time, knowledge or internet access. The idea to offer on demand, one on one
consultation at your doorstep triggered the AuctionAgent concept. Furthermore, eliminating
the hassles of having to go to a “drop off” location.
AuctionAgent was established in 2005 and launched upon the recruitment and training of
the first group of experienced ebay users (i.e. founding agents), fully trained to offer an
alternative way to selling personal goods within the Los Angeles area. Our AuctionAgent
received full training on ebay use and as well as knowledge about marketable goods to
further assist customers in attaining top dollar for their items.
